Concerns For next Season
With a number of players, especially long term players probably leaving, how do we ensure we have a decent season?

In my head, looks likely Rice is gone, a huge loss for any team. Add to that Antonio rumoured off, Cresswell, ogbonna,Fab past it and possibly gone? Lanzini. not featured a great deal but another long serving player.

That is quite a hit to the squad with some big characters and could change the dynamics in a bad way but then again it could have a positive impact. What are peoples thoughts?

Need a major clear our - too many old players and dead wood. I don't trust Moyes to reshape the squad after the majority of this seasons acquisitions and his negative set up/tactics. The Rice money will be wasted, thats a given

Re: Concerns For next Season
It's far too early for us but for the club it should be well on the way to being sorted.....but it won't be as they are so slooooooooow to do deals or get their first choice picks....they then pine for players that are obviously waiting for the big clubs or cash rich clubs to give them a top contract.

See our transfer business for the past decade AND the fact Moyes' is too busy dithering to have a good preseason.....

cresswell signed a years extension.it should be his testimonial year but apparently he won't have one as he don't want to pay to hire the stadium according to the drunkard Hugh

Not seen the fixtures schedule yet - bit concerned with our run-in based on that, to be honest.

Re: Concerns For next Season
If the rumours are true then Moyes wants players in part exchange so with rice leaving then hopefully the squad should instantly improved overall BUT I still think he is going one way or another so what do I know?

Re: Concerns For next Season
I think you look to play in a style that can get those left behind to work. Cresswell will (if not replaced) will have us lose the ability to feed off his whipped in crosses and Antonio going will mean we can't look for this battering ram approach up front.

My thoughts I have not even given a thought to next season... LCFC next week and then the final... then I might start thinking about stuff..

Re: Concerns For next Season
no saying it's right, but I think all the old uns will be offered extensions, the only doubt being lanzini who may want to start more games
